This popular service is an effective treatment to address premature aging, acne from high bacterial levels, hormonal skin or other skincare concerns such as sun damage or uneven skin pigmentation.

Skin cells turn over naturally in our youth every 18 to 20 days, resulting in a vibrant, healthy look. Aging tends to slow this process down, resulting in a dull, less radiant appearance. Chemical peels stimulate the cell turn-over to give back the radiance we remember.

With over 6 different formulations, our aestheticians will customize a peel to effectively treat your skin, providing one of the most affordable ways to turn back the hands of time.

What areas can be treated? And can Chemical Peels be combined with other treatments?

Back, Chest, Face and Neck are areas for treatment. Peels may be combined with laser and medical treatments for optimal care.

What do I need to know before a Chemical Peel?

Chemical peels should not be performed on skin that is burned or tanned from sun exposure. Self-tanners should not be used two weeks prior to the procedure, and discontinue any topical prescriptions 7 days prior. You may not be a candidate if you are taking certain oral meds such as steroids or Accutane®. Pregnant or nursing women should not be treated.

What should I expect after a Chemical Peel?

Typically, there is little discomfort and slight flaking, but your skin will be healthy looking. Some treatments may have slight downtimes and others will allow you to put on your makeup and go out on the town that same evening.

Ingredients found in Peels?

  • Lactic acid for hydration
  • Salicylic acids dissolve harden skin cells
  • Trichloroacetic acids for irregular skin tones/textures, scars, fine wrinkles
  • Glycolic acids for exfoliation, scarring, fine lines and wrinkles

Peels differ in what acids they contain, and your aesthetician will assist you in finding the best answer to your skin’s requirements.
